<br />ROBERT BERG, -ASSISTANT PLANNING DIRECTOR, INFORMED THE BOARD
<br />THAT THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF SOUTH GIFFORD ROAD AND
<br />58TH AVENUE, GIFFORD, AND THIS AREA WAS RECENTLY REZONED TO LM -1 LIGHT
<br />MANUFACTURING DISTRICT. THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN SHOWS THIS
<br />PROPERTY AS LIGHT MANUFACTURING AND TO REZONE IT TO R-1 WOULD BE SPOT
<br />ZONING AND CONTRARY TO THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN. THERE ARE A FEW
<br />RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES ALONG SOUTH GIFFORD ROAD, BUT THE PRIMARY USE IS
