NOVEMBER 14, 1975 TO ATTEND A COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYMENT TRAINING ACT (CETA) <br />DISTRICT MEETING. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY GRANTED RETRO-ACTIVE APPROVAL FOR OUT-OF-COUNTY <br />.TRAVEL FOR JACK HOCKMAN, FINANCE OFFICER TO ATTEND THE CLERK'S ANNUAL <br />WORKSHOP WITH COMPTROLLER AND LEGISLATIVE AUDITOR REGARDING THE PREPARATION <br />OF THE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT IN ORLANDO ON NOVEMBER 19, 1975. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY GRANTED RETRO-ACTIVE APPROVAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR <br />PERCY SUGGS FOR ADMISSION TO THE A.G. HOLLEY STATE HOSPITAL. <br />THE FOLLOWING REPORTS WERE RECEIVED AND PLACED ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE CLERK OF CIRCUIT COURT. <br />INDIAN RIVER FARMS WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT AUDIT REPORT - <br />SEPTEMBER 0, 19/5 <br />NDIAN RIVER OUNIY WELFARE DEPARTMENT MONTHLY REPORT - OCTOBER <br />- OCTOBER 3L 1975. <br />REPORT OF CONVICTIONS - CIRCUIT COURT - OCTOBER 1975 <br />REPORT OF CONVICTIONS - COUNTY COURT m OCTOBER 1975. <br />A REQUEST FROM COUNTY COURT FOR APPROVAL TO PURCHASE A DIBOLD <br />MACHINE, IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,000.00 WAS DISCUSSED. THE BOARD REQUESTED <br />DONNA SCOTT, CHIEF CLERK COUNTY COURT DEPARTMENT TO PREPARE ADDITIONAL <br />INFORMATION AS TO WHY THIS WAS NOT BROUGHT BEFORE THE BOARD AT BUDGET TIME <br />AND MORE INFORMATION AS TO THE SIZE OF THE MACHINE. THIS DISCUSSION WILL <br />BE CONTINUED AT THE NEXT MEETING. <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR INFORMED THE BOARD OF A LETTER FROM JOHN D. <br />LISLE WITH DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS REQUESTING TO MAKE HIS <br />SERVICES AVAILABLE, AT NO COST TO THE COUNTY, IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGE- <br />MENT OF A POLLUTION CONTROL PROGRAM. HE IS WORKING ON A FEDERAL GRANT, ADMIN- <br />ISTERED THROUGH THE STATE AND HIS CURRENT CONTRACT EXPIRES JUNE 21, 1976. <br />AFTER DISCUSSION IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT MR. LISLE BE NOTIFIED THAT <br />WE APPRECIATE HIS APPLICATION, BUT AT THE PRESENT TIME WE DO NOT FEEL WE <br />CAN AVAIL OURSELVES OF HIS SERVICES DUE TO THE LACK OF PROGRAMS AND ADEQUATE <br />SPACE. <br />COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER INFORMED THE BOARD THAT AT THE COASTAL ZONE <br />MANAGEMENT PROGRAM MEETING, HUGH RUSSELL ASKED IF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS WOULD BE RECEPTIVE TO THIS COMMITTEE LOOKING INTO THE FLORIDA <br />FLOOD INSURANCE PROGRAM. <br />THE BOARD AGREED THAT THE COASTAL ZONE COMMITTEE LOOK INTO THE FLOOD <br />- 27 - <br />NOV 1 9 1975 <br />eoog 24 mr,E160 <br />
