r <br />SATUM)A.Y, MARCH 22nd 1930. <br />The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at <br />the Court .House in Vero Beach, on Saturday; March 22nd 1930 at 10 o'clock A.M. with the <br />following members of the Board present: Albert 0. Helseth, Chairman; J. W. laBruce; <br />J.J.P.Hamilton and John H. Atkin, dbeent J. D. Yongue. Also present were Miles Warren, <br />Clerk ard Cr3.mrk S. Rice, Sheriff. <br />The Chairman announced the call meeting wqs being held for the purpose, of advising <br />the Sheriff what disposition to make of defendants sentenced in the County Court for <br />jail terms and now in jail at Fort Pierce, St. Lucie County, especially the case of one <br />Fred P. Park now in jail under sentence of the County Court of this County. <br />It _ wawa moved, seconded and carried that in the event the Circuit Court eniers an <br />order for Fred P. Park to be returned to Indian River County to serve sentence under <br />jurisdiction of the Sheriff of this County that the Sheriff is empowered, authorized <br />and directed to employ guards and procure housing facilities and arrange for rations <br />for him and also Pat Conklin now under sentence to serve in this County under the <br />jurisdiction of the Sheriff. <br />There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried the Board the <br />adjourned until the regular meeting .to be held in April 1930. <br />AT T .
