A MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMIS- <br />SIONER SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE EXPENDITURE OF <br />$7,600,00 FOR THE NORTH COUNTY RECREATION PROGRAM FROM REVENUE SHARING <br />FUNDS, SUBJECT TO AN AGREEMENT TO BE PREPARED BY OUR COUNTY ATTORNEY AND <br />SIGNED BY THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN OFFICIALS AND THE CITY OF FELLSMERE OFFI- <br />CIALS WHICH WILL PERMIT THE USE OF THESE FACILITIES IF AND WHEN A COUNTY- <br />WIDE RECREATION PROGRAM COMES ABOUT AND THAT THE FACILITIES WILL BE USED <br />FOR ALL COUNTY RESIDENTS EQUALLY, <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR INFORMED THE BOARD OF A LETTER FROM W,M, <br />BOSTWICK, JR „ DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS, DATED NOVEMBER 26, <br />REQUESTING "AS BUILT” ENGINEERING PLANS OF THE WINTER BEACH SCHOOL, IR, <br />BOSTWICK STATED THAT UPON INVESTIGATION OF THIS SCHOOL'S WATER SYSTEM SEV- <br />ERAL CORRECTIONS ARE NECESSARY, <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR STATED THAT THIS SCHOOL IS USED FOR THE <br />HEAD START PROGRAM, <br />CHAIRMAN LOY REQUESTED THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR TO REVIE:'W WITH <br />THE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY COUNCIL AND SEE IF THEY ARE UTILIZING THE BUILDING, <br />AND IF THEY ARE,• WHAT FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO MAKE MAJOR CHANGES TO <br />THE BUILDING, WITH THE BOARD'S APPROVAL, SHE STATED THAT UNDER OUR BASIC <br />AGREEMENT, THEY ARE REQUIRED TO DO IMPROVEMENT WORK AS NECESSARY, WITH THE <br />BOARD'S APPROVAL, <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR STATED THAT AT THE NOVEMBER 19TH MEETING <br />HE HAD INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION HAD BEEN <br />DISCUSSING LOCATING AN OFFICIAL MAINTENANCE YARD IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AND <br />THEY WERE INTERESTED IN OBTAINING TWO TO FOUR ACRES FOR THIS PURPOSE, HE <br />CONTINUED THAT UPON INVESTIGATION, HE WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND A PORTION OF <br />COUNTY PROPERTY, ABOUT THREE ACRES OFF SOUTH GIFFORD ROAD, BE PRESENTED TO <br />THE D.O.T. FOR A PERMANENT MAINTENANCE YARD, <br />IT WAS SUGGESTED BY THE BOARD THAT THE DEED BE PREPARED WITH A <br />REVERTER CLAUSE IN IT, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED THAT THE COUNTY DEED THE NORTH THREE <br />ACRES OF LAND IN THE NORTH CORNER OF TRACT 11, SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP 32 SOUTH <br />RANGE 39 EAST, ABUTTING SOUTH GIFFORD ROAD, TO THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTA- <br />TION, THAT THE COUNTY ATTORNEY BE INSTRUCTED TO DRAW UP A DEED FOR THE <br />DEC 171975. <br />10 <br />1,99 <br />
