MR. BRENNAN STATED THAT AS LONG AS "AS TIME PERMITS" IS UNDER- <br />STOOD BY ALL, HE COULD SEE NO BIG PROBLEM TO THE EXTENSION OF PLANNING <br />SERVICES, <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT STATED THAT HE DOES NOT FEEL WE CAN CONTINU- <br />ALLY APPROVE ADDITIONAL EXTENSIONS OF TIME, AND HE FEELS POSSIBLY THE CITY <br />MIGHT BE HAVING SECOND THOUGHTS ABOUT THE SPLIT, AND IF SO, THEY WILL HAVE <br />TO MAKE A DECISION WITHIN THE NEXT 90 DAYS, IT WILL HAVE TO BE UNDERSTOOD <br />THAT THERE WILL BE NO MORE EXTENSIONS OF TIME, <br />MR, BRENNAN STATED THAT THE CITY HAS ONE FULL2zTIME EMPLOYEE AND <br />A PARTTIME EMPLOYEE, BOTH USING COUNTY EQUIPMENT, <br />AFTER DISCUSSION A MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SEC- <br />ONDED BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, TO GRANT THE CITY'S REQUEST FOR AN EXTENSION <br />NOT TO EXCEED THREE MONTHS FROM JANUARY 1 THROUGH MARCH 31, 1976, OF THE <br />PLANNING SERVICES AGREEMENT ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 18, 1975, ON THE SAME <br />BASIS AS BEFORE, INCLUDING THE CHARGES FOR PLANNING STAFF TIME AND OTHER <br />RELATED COSTS; THAT THE CITY BE INFORMED THAT THIS IS THE LAST EXTENSION <br />AND THAT THE COUNTY IS STILL RECEPTIVE TO COOPERATIVE PLANNING ACTIVJTES IF <br />THEY SO DESIRE; AND WE WOULD BE GLAD TO TALK TO THEM ABOUT IT, <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY DID NOT GO ALONG WITH THAT PORTION STATING <br />"...THE COUNTY IS STILL RECEPTIVE TO COOPERATIVE PLANNING ACTIVITIES..,. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT STATED THAT HE WOULD BE WILLING TO GO ALONG <br />WITH THIS EXTENSION ON A SHORT TERM BASIS, BUT HE IS NOT IN FAVOR OF CONTINU- <br />ING IT AFTER THESE THREE MONTHS, <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE SUGGESTED THAT HE WOULD LIKE AS PART OF THE <br />MOTION THAT WE ARE STRONGLY CONSIDERING MOVING THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT, <br />COMISSIONER SIEBERT AND COMMISSIONER MASSEY AGREED TO AMEND THE <br />MOTION AS FOLLOWS: <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED TO GRANT THE CITY'S REQUEST FOR AN <br />EXTENSION NOT TO EXCEED THREE MONTHS FROM JANUARY 1 THROUGH MARCH 31, 1976, <br />OF THE PLANNING SERVICES AGREEMENT ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 18, 1975, ON THE SAME <br />BASIS AS BEFORE, INCLUDING THE CHARGES FOR PLANNING STAFF TIME AND OTHER <br />RELATED COSTS; THAT THE CITY BE INFORMED THAT THIS IS THE LAST EXTENSION <br />2 <br />DEC 3 1 1975 <br />BOOK 2 <br />CE 32 <br />
