RESOLUTION 2003-1 39 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, DISBANDING THE AFFORDABLE <br />HOUSING ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />WHEREAS, Resolutions 91-29, 93-97, and 95-23 established and <br />restructured the Indian River County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 93-13 was codified as Chapter 308 of the <br />Indian River County Code creating the Indian River County Local Housing <br />Assistance Trust Fund and the Indian River County Affordable Housing Advisory <br />Committee; and <br />WHEREAS, the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee was further <br />authorized under Florida Statute 420.9076; and <br />WHEREAS, the duties and obligations of the Affordable Housing Advisory <br />Committee are complete pursuant to County Code or State regulation, and <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the coordination of its efforts with staff and the <br />Board of County Commissioners, the State Housing Initiatives Partnership <br />Program has been providing financial assistance to low and moderate income <br />homeowners of Indian River County by providing Affordable Housing and <br />improving existing housing for, and <br />WHEREAS, the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee has completed <br />its task; and <br />WHEREAS, the Community Development Department administers the <br />County's Affordable Housing Program, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, that: <br />1. The Indian River County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee is <br />hereby dissolved. <br />2. The past and present members of the committee are hereby <br />recognized for their fine work and diligent effort in service to their committee. <br />3. The Community Development Department staff shall continue <br />administering State Housing Initiative Partnership Program henceforth. <br />
