within the Indian River County/City of Vero Beach Enterprise Zone and meets the criteria <br /> as a sponsoring organization under Section 220.03(1)(t), Florida Statutes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach, Inc. <br /> incorporates, as part of its By-Laws, provisions to operate for the advancement of <br /> charitable welfare and social work within the Diocese of Palm Beach, to organize and <br /> govern branches or affiliated agencies or institutions of charity, to engage in family and <br /> child welfare service throughout the Diocese of Palm Beach, to collect and publish <br /> information concerning charitable welfare and social work, and to foster low income <br /> housing in the.Diocese of Palm Beach; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Samaritan Center eBay store, described in attachment A, is <br /> consistent with the overall intent of the Enterprise Zone Strategic Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Enterprise Zone Strategic Plan is consistent with the Indian River <br /> County Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach, Inc. is the <br /> sponsoring organization applying for approval of the Samaritan Center eBay store as a <br /> State approved Community Development Project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT: <br /> The Board of County Commissioners endorses Catholic Charities of the Diocese <br /> of Palm Beach, Inc. as a sponsoring agency under the Florida Enterprise Zone <br /> Community Contribution Tax Credit Program and finds that the Samaritan Center <br /> Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach, Inc.'s eBay store project, as described in <br /> Attachment A, is consistent with the Indian River County/City of Vero Beach Enterprise <br /> Zone Strategic Plan and Indian River County Comprehensive Plan. <br /> The forgoing Resolution was offered by Commissioner Davi s and <br /> seconded by Commissioner Wheel er and upon being put to a vote, <br /> the vote was as follows: <br /> Gary C.
