WALKER STATED THAT HE WILL WORK WITH MRS KING GUIDING HIM ON <br />HOW TO PROCEED IN OBTAINING PERMITS TO BUILD A HOUSE ON HIS PROPERTY. <br />DR. DAVID SMITH, COUNTY CONSULTING ENGINEER APPEARED REQUESTING <br />APPROVAL TO INCREASE THE GRANT ALLOTMENT ON THE 201 PLAN TO DO WORK THAT <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS ORIGINALLY PLANNED TO AC— <br />COMPLISH. THIS CHANGE IN WORK SCOPE AND THE CHANGE 'IN THE GRANT AMOUNT <br />WILL•NOT OBLIGATE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY TO REIMBURSE THE CONSULTING ENGINEERS <br />FOR ANY FUNDS OTHER THAN GRANT FUNDS RECEIVED. <br />THE GRANT INCREASE IS IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,075.00 AND IT IS TO <br />PERFORM MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF THE INDIAN RIVER. <br />AFTER DISCUSSION A MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, <br />SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER Loy, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE COUNTY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO SUBMIT A LETTER TO THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL RE— <br />GULATIONS AUTHORIZING A GRANT INCREASE IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,075.00 ON THE <br />201 PLAN BECAUSE WORK ORIGINALLY PLANNED TO BE ACCOMPLISHED BY THE DE— <br />PARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS WILL NOW BE DONE BY SVERDRUP & PARCELS <br />AND ASSOCIATES, INC. AND BEINDORF AND ASSOCIATES, INC., A JOINT VENTURE; <br />AND AUTHORIZED THE REQUEST TO PERFORM MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF THE INDIAN <br />RIVER. <br />L.
