HE CONTINUED HE HAD WRITTEN TO AND RECEIVED LETTERS FROM MR, ROY MAYO, DIRECTOR OF BUILDING, TALLAHASSEEI MR. BUTZ OF ORLANDO; AND MR. GEORGE BROWN OF FORT MYERS, ALL INDICATING THEY CONSIDERED THE SOUTHERN STANDARD HOUSING CODE A VALUABLE ASSET TO THEIR CITIES AND AN EFFECTIVE TOOL IN ENFORCING STANDARDS AND ELIMINATING BLIGHTED AREAS, MR.. ADAMS STATED THAT HE WOULD NOT BE ASKING THE BOARD TO ADOPT _ THIS CODE IF HE DIDN°T FEEL IT WAS REALLY NEEDED.
