G <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE NOTED THAT WHILE INTERVIEWING APPLICANTS <br />FOR THE POSITION OF CIVIL DEFENSE DIRECTOR, THEY ALSO TALKED WITH THEM <br />EXTENSIVELY ABOUT -THE 911 PROGRAM AND THE POSSIBILITY OF THIS BECOMING A <br />FULL-TIME POSITION, AND HE FELT THAT WE HAVE APPOINTED A MAN WHO CAN WORK <br />IN THIS DUAL CAPACITY WHEN IT IS NEEDED. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT STATED THAT WITH THE BOARDS APPROVAL HE WOULD <br />WRITE A LETTER TO MAYOR JAY SMITH THANKING HIM FOR HELPING US OUT BY <br />SERVING AS INTERIM DIRECTOR OF CIVIL DEFENSE AND !NOTIFYING HIM THAT THIS <br />POSITION HAS NOW BEEN FILLED, WITH COPIES BEING SENT TO THE AREA SUPERVISOR <br />AND THE DIVISION OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS. <br />THE BOARD AGREED, <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS PRESENTED A PROPOSED RESOLUTION IN REGARD TO <br />SETTING UP A CITIZENS RECREATION COMMITTEE WHICH HE STATED HE HAD REVIEWED <br />WITH COMMISSIONER Loy. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER Loy, <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED RESOLUTION N0. 76-22. <br />15 eo�2 Q�236 <br />
