owner of any Bond in the principal amount of $1,000,000 or more may, upon written <br />request made to the Registrar and at the expense of such registered owner, direct that <br />payment of interest thereon be made by wire transfer or any other medium acceptable <br />to the County and to such registered owner, all as more specifically provided in the <br />Bond Resolution. The transfer of the Bonds will be registrable and they may be <br />exchanged at the principal office of the Registrar, upon the payment of any taxes, fees <br />or other governmental charges required to be paid with respect to such transfer or <br />exchange. <br />The person in whose name any Bond is registered will be deemed and regarded <br />as the absolute owner thereof for all purposes and payment of or on account of the <br />principal or redemption price of any Bond, and the interest on any such Bonds, will be <br />made only to or upon the order of the registered owner thereof or his or her legal <br />representative. <br />Optional Redemption <br />Bonds or portions thereof maturing in the years [ ] through [ ], both <br />inclusive, are not redeemable prior to their stated dates of maturity. Bonds or portions <br />thereof maturing on January 1, [ ], and thereafter are redeemable prior to their <br />stated dates of maturity, at the option of the County, as a whole or in part on January <br />1, [ ], or on any date thereafter, in such manner approved by the County, at a <br />redemption price of 100% of the principal amount thereof, together with accrued <br />interest thereon to the redemption date. <br />Notice of such redemption must, not more than 60 days or less than 30 calendar <br />days prior to the redemption date, be filed with the Registrar and be mailed, postage <br />prepaid, by the Registrar to all owners of Bonds to be redeemed at their addresses as <br />they appear on the registration books of the Registrar; provided, however, that failure <br />to mail such notice of redemption to one or more owners will not affect the validity of <br />the proceedings for such redemption with respect to the owners to which notice was <br />duly mailed in accordance with the Bond Resolution. Each such notice will set forth the <br />date fixed for redemption, the redemption price to be paid and, if less than all of the <br />Bonds of one maturity are to be called, the distinctive numbers of such Bonds to be <br />redeemed, and in the case of Bonds to be redeemed in part only, the portion of the <br />principal amount thereof to be redeemed. <br />Upon surrender of any Bond for redemption in part only, the Registrar shall <br />authenticate and deliver to the owner thereof, a new Bond ,of an authorized <br />denomination equal to the unredeemed portion of the Bond surrendered. <br />10 <br />
