funds may be provided for disaster associated repairs <br />with only one written licensed contractor estimate and <br />expedited approval process. <br />Rehabilitation/emergency/disaster repair grants may be <br />leveraged with private funds, small city Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, weatherization <br />funds, HUD transitional housing funds, and other state <br />and federal programs as appropriate. <br />b. Eligibility <br />i. Geographic Area. <br />Rehabilitation grants may be made anywhere in the <br />County, including all municipalities located within <br />the County. <br />ii. Housing Unit Classification <br />Eligible housing units receiving IRCLHAProgram <br />Rehabilitation Grants must be owner -occupied <br />single-family or condominium residences. <br />iii. Applicant Classification <br />(a) Rehabilitation grants may be awarded to the <br />following: <br />1. Very Low -Income Eligible Persons <br />2. Low -Income Eligible Persons only when the <br />rehabilitation grant is a match for <br />another housing program, such as the CDBG <br />program,. HOME . Investment Partnership <br />Program (HOME), or other state or federal <br />housing program. <br />(b) Rehabilitation grants shall result in eligible <br />housing for the following: <br />1. Very Low -Income Persons <br />2. Low -Income Persons <br />c. Basic Award Terms <br />i. Maximum Monetary Award <br />The maximum monetary award for a rehabilitation <br />grant shall not exceed $20,000.00 per each eligible <br />single-family or condominium housing unit. <br />.N <br />
