- Housing Element Policy 9.1 <br />POLICY 9.1: The county shall maintain its local housing assistance <br />programs. As part of this coordination process, the county will <br />accept funds, land, in-kind services, or other types of payments <br />for housing assistance purposes from local municipalities which are <br />unable to provide sites for low cost housing within their <br />jurisdictions. <br />Affordable Housing Incentive Strategies Evaluation <br />The county's affordable housing incentive strategies are <br />implemented through application of the county's Land Development <br />Regulations and enforcement of the county's Comprehensive Plan <br />policies. <br />All of the county's affordable housing incentive strategies are <br />being implemented as intended. As a result, these strategies are <br />reducing the cost of housing in the county. <br />
