RESOLUTION NO. 2005- 077 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING FEES FOR REVIEWING IMPACT FEE INDIVIDUAL <br />ASSESSMENT APPLICATIONS AND FOR PROCESSING IMPACT FEE REFUND <br />APPLICATIONS. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has approved Title X, Impact Fees, of the Code of Indian River <br />County establishing 9 impact fees; and <br />WHEREAS, Title X provides that individuals who are not in agreement with impact fee payment <br />schedule fees for any of the impact fees have the option to prepare an individual assessment of <br />impact of their project on county facilities and services, according to the methodology identified by <br />the county; and <br />WHEREAS, Title X provides for a refund of impact fees if building permits or initial -1 <br />concurrency certificates associated with a project are revoked, expired, or withdrawn, or if impact <br />fees are not used within 6 years and a request for refund is submitted by the applicant; and <br />WHEREAS, processing an impact fee individual assessment application or an impact fee refund <br />application requires staff time and cost. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT: <br />Section 1. <br />The above recitals are ratified in their entirety. <br />Section 2. <br />The Board of County Commissioners, hereby, establishes the following fees: <br />- Impact Fee Individual Assessment Application Review Fee <br />(For Section 1000.08(3) and Section 1010.03(2) of Title X <br />of the Code of Indian River County) <br />$2,000.00 <br />
