RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 103 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING A JOINT <br /> PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF <br /> TRANSPORTATION FOR FIBER OPTIC CABLE SYSTEM <br /> MAINTENANCE. <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Indian <br /> River County (IRC) are desirous of enhancing the operation of the County's computerized <br /> traffic signal control system; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Joint Participation Agreement will provide, through a fiber sharing <br /> arrangement, additional fiber optic facilities for use by the FDOT and the County for both <br /> traffic and non-traffic purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the FDOT fiber optic construction project is identified as: <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTYWIDE <br /> SIGNALIZATION PROJECT CONTRACT NO. <br /> 21225 /INDIAN RIVER COUNTY STATE JOB <br /> NO. 406589-1-52-01; and <br /> WHEREAS, FDOT and IRC wish to enter into a Joint Participation Agreement for <br /> maintenance of the fiber optic cable system identified as 406589-1-52-01. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT: <br /> 1. The above-recitals are ratified in their entirety; and <br /> 2.
