RESOLUTION NO. 2005- 086 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br /> FLORIDA, ADDING AN ADDITIONAL MEMBER TO <br /> THE LAND ACQUISITION ADVISORY COMMITTEE. <br /> WHEREAS, the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee encourages the <br /> acquisition of tracts of valuable native land, environmentally sensitive land, or lands <br /> which have great recreational worth; and <br /> WHEREAS, in 2004, the citizens of Indian River County approved a $50 million <br /> bond referendum, to acquire additional parcels of valuable land including historic sites <br /> and agricultural land; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has decided that a person with <br /> historical expertise would be a valuable addition to the Land Acquisition Advisory <br /> Committee to provide input as to possible purchase of historical sites in Indian River <br /> County; and <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution 90-104, the Board of County Commissioners created <br /> the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee; and <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution 92-58, the Board of County Commissioners amended <br /> Resolution 90-104 revising its membership; and <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution 2003-130, the Board of County Commissioners <br /> reestablished and restructured the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Land Acquisition Guide of Indian River County dated October <br /> 18, 1994, recommends a committee consisting of seventeen (17) members. <br /> WHEREAS, it is the will of the Board of County Commissioners to add an <br /> additional member to the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee in light of the recently <br /> approved bond referendum; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY . THE BOARD OF <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br /> 1.
