RESOLUTION NO. 2004- "006 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA (COUNTY), APPROVING A FLORIDA <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION MEMORANDUM <br />OF AGREEMENT [FM #228583-3-52-01] FOR <br />LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATIONS IMPROVEMENTS <br />FOR US1 FROM THE SOUTH RELIEF CANAL TO <br />8TH STREET <br />WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) <br />has designed and completed plans and specifications for roadway, <br />landscaping and irrigation improvements to US1 from the South Relief <br />Canal to 8th Street (FDOT Project FM # 228583-3-52-01.) A Memorandum of <br />Agreement (MOA) between FDOT and the County has been prepared by FDOT, <br />and approved by County staff, providing for County maintenance of all <br />proposed landscaping, irrigation, and aesthetic improvements; and, <br />WHEREAS, FDOT requires that the Board of County Commissioners <br />(Board) adopt a resolution approving the MOA and authorizing the <br />execution of the MOA by the proper officials of the County. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD, that the Board hereby <br />approves the MOA between the Board and FDOT in the form attached to this <br />Resolution as "Exhibit A" and authorizes the Chairman to execute such <br />MOA. <br />The foregoing Resolution was offered by Commissioner Adams <br />and seconded by CommissionerLowther , and, upon being put to a vote, <br />the vote was as follows: <br />Commissioner Kenneth R.
