COMMISSIONER Loy POINTED OUT THAT IF WE HAD TO PURCHASE'LAND FOR <br />i <br />THIS PURPOSE, IT WOULD PROBABLY COST AT LEAST $600,000, SHE CONTINUED <br />THAT SHE LIKED THE WORDING OF THE RESOLUTION BUT FELT THERE WAS A POSSI- <br />BILITY THAT THE T.I.I.F, MIGHT REQUIRE A MORE EXACT TIME PERIOD, SHE <br />i <br />SUGGESTED, IN ORDER TO SAVE TIME, THE CHAIRMAN BE AUTHORIZED TO NEGOTIATE <br />i <br />WITH THEM IN THIS REGARD, IF NECESSARY. <br />DISCUSSION FOLLOWED, AND THE ADMINISTRATOR STATED THAT, ':ONSIDER- <br />ING THE GROWTH OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, A DEFINITE TIME PERIOD WAS HARD <br />TO ESTIMATE, HE STATED HE WOULD NOT WANT TO TIE THIS DOWN TO A FIVE-YEAR <br />PERIOD BUT COULD AGREE TO A TEN-YEAR PERIOD; ALTHOUGH, HE ACTUALLY DOES <br />NOT FEEL IT SHOULD BE TIED DOWN TO A FIXED TIME RIGHT NOW. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT STATED HE BELIEVED THAT WE WILL HAVE TO GO TO <br />TALLAHASSEE IN REGARD TO THIS MATTER AND AGREED IT WOULD BE WISE TO AN- <br />TICIPATE ANY QUESTION RELATING TO THE TIME PERIOD BY DELEGATING AUTHORITY <br />TO OUR REPRESENTATIVE TO DEAL WITH THIS MATTER WITHOUT HAVING TO COME <br />BACK TO THE BOARD FOR FURTHER ACTION, THEREBY CREATING A DELAY, <br />ON LOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy,, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED RESOLUTION No. 76-50. <br />9 <br />26 71 <br />'JUL 1976 <br />��� .�a� <br />
