.a <br />COMMISSIONER Loy SUGGESTED THAT THE HOSPITALS AND NURSING HOMES <br />IN THE AREA BE NOTIFIED THAT WE HAVE ISSUED THIS CERTIFICATE OF MEED, AND <br />IT WAS AGREED THAT THIS SHOULD BE DONE. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT IN REGARD TO THE COUNTY - <br />OWNED PROPERTY ADJACENT TO WINTER BEACH CEMETERY, WHICH THE WINTER REACH <br />CEMETERY ASSOCIATION WISHES TO INCORPORATE INTO THE CEMETERY, HE HAS MET <br />WITH ADMINISTRATOR .JENNINGS AND WRITTEN A MEMO AS TO THE PROBLEM AREAS THAT <br />HE SEES, AND HE WILL REFER THIS MEMO TO THE CEMETERY PEOPLE. HE STATED <br />THAT THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT SHOULD BE IRONED OUT BEFORE THE BOARD CON- <br />VEYS THIS PROPERTY TO THEM, <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE AUDITOR HAS RECOM- <br />MENDED THAT THERE BE A WRITTEN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERO BEACH <br />AND THE COUNTY IN REGARD TO THE FEEDING AND HOUSING OF CITY PRISONERS, <br />AND HE HAS PREPARED A SIMPLE AGREEMENT WHICH THE CITY IS REFERRING TO THEIR <br />BUDGET DEPARTMENT. THE ATTORNEY STATED HE DOES NOT FEEL THERE WILL BE ANY <br />PROBLEM, AND HE, THEREFORE, WOULD LIKE THE BOARD TO AUTHORIZE THE CHAIRMAN <br />OR VICE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THIS AGREEMENT. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE CHAIRMAN OR THE VICE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN <br />THE AGREEMENT AS TO THE FEEDING AND HOUSING OF CITY PRISONERS AS SOON AS IT <br />IS SIGNED BY THE CITY OF VERO REACH, THIS AGREEMENT WILL BE MADE A PART OF <br />THE MINUTES WHEN FULLY SIGNED. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS REPORTED THAT IN REGARD TO THE COMMISSIONS DUE <br />THE PROPERTY APPRAISER FOR 1973, HE HAS DISCUSSED THE PLATTER WITH WILLIAM <br />STEWART, ATTORNEY FOR THE HOSPITAL, AND FEELS CONFIDENT THAT THE HOSPITAL <br />WILL PAY THE AMOUNT THEY OWE AS SOON AS THEIR ADMINISTRATOR GETS BACK FROM <br />VACATION. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS REMINDED THE BOARD THAT AT THE MEETING OF .JULY <br />21ST THEY AUTHORIZED THE ADMINISTRATOR TO WRITE A LETTER TO LAUREL HOMES, <br />INC., ACCEPTING THE ROADS AND STREETS IN LAURELWOOD SUBDIVISION, UNIT 1, <br />SUBJECT TO A MAINTENANCE BOND IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,200.00, AND WHEN THIS HAS <br />BEEN DONE, THE SUBDIVISION CASH BOND -IS TO BE RELEASED TO LAUREL HOMES, INC. <br />AUG 41976 <br />
