Providing (First Reso.) 4/22/04(ENG)RES1.MJM\ktp <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006- 007 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN PAVING AND DRAINAGE <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO 32°d AVENUE SW FROM 15th STREET SW <br />TO 13th PLACE SW, INCLUDING THE INTERSECTING <br />STREETS IN GROVENOR ESTATES SUBDIVISION, <br />PROVIDING THE TOTAL ESTIMATED COST, METHOD OF <br />PAYMENT OF ASSESSMENTS, NUMBER OF ANNUAL <br />INSTALLMENTS, AND LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA <br />SPECIFICALLY BENEFITTED. <br />WHEREAS, the County Public Works Department has been petitioned for Road <br />Paving and Drainage Improvement for 32°d Avenue SW from 15th Street SW to 13th Place SW <br />including the intersecting streets in GROVENOR ESTATES SUBDIVISION <br />WHEREAS, the construction of paving and drainage improvements by special <br />assessment funding is authorized by Chapter 206, Section 206.01 through 206.09, Indian River <br />County Code; and cost estimates and preliminary assessment rolls have been completed by the <br />Public Works Department; and the total estimated, cost of the proposed paving and drainage <br />improvements is ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY SIX <br />DOLLARS and SEVENTY FIVE CENTS ($180,766.75); and <br />WHEREAS, the special assessment provided hereunder shall, for any given record <br />owner of property within the area specially benefited, be in an amount equal to that proportion of <br />seventy-five percent (75%) of the total _cost of the project plus 2% collection fee ($138,341.90) <br />which the number of acreage owned by the given owner bears to the total number of acreage within <br />the areas specially benefited and twenty-five percent (25%) of the total cost of the project <br />F:\ENGINEERING\PETITION PAVING\03-127 32ND AVE 15TH ST.
