The signatories named on the attached Exhibit "A" are hereby authorized to <br />execute any and all signature cards and agreements as requested by the <br />respective banking institutions designated as official depositories by the Board. <br />8. The use of facsimile signatures is authorized by <br />Florida <br />Statutes Section 116.34 <br />(2008), <br />the "Uniform Facsimile Signature of Public <br />Officials <br />Act." <br />9. Resolution 2007-157 of the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners is <br />hereby rescinded in its entirety. <br />10. Commencing November 18, 2008, and continuing through December 31, 2009, <br />Joseph A. Baird, Indian River County Administrator and Indian River County <br />Emergency Services District Director, or his designee, is hereby delegated the <br />authority: (i) to declare a state of local emergency for Indian River County pursuant <br />to Florida Statutes section 252.38(3)(a)(5)(2008); and (ii) to issue orders and rules, <br />including, without limitation, the ability to issue Emergency Orders for Indian River <br />County, during a period of a declared emergency pursuant to any duly issued <br />Executive Order concerning Emergency Management issued by the Governor of <br />the State of Florida declaring that a disaster and/or emergency [as such terms are <br />defined in Florida Statutes sections 252.34 (1) and (3) respectively] exists in Indian <br />River County. <br />This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption. <br />The Resolution was moved to adoption by Commissioner O'Bryan , and the <br />motion was seconded by Commissioner Wheeler and upon being put to a vote, <br />the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Davis AYE <br />Vice Chairman Flescher AYE,_ <br />Commissioner Wheeler AYE <br />Commissioner O'Bryan AYE <br />Commissioner Solari _AY <br />The Chairman thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed Find adopted this 181h <br />day of November, 2008. <br />Attest: rton, Cle <br />By <br />De uty Clerk <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMPAiiSSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />Br Z,44 <br />-Wes ey vi • Chairman <br />Approved as to form and legal <br />sufficiency: r— <br />Marian E.
