DEWEY WALKER, ZONING DIRECTOR, APPEARED IN REGARD TO A SPECIAL <br />EXCEPTION TO ORDINANCE 74-20 REQUESTED BY CURTIS AND CAROLYN BRAY. MRS. <br />BRAY WAS ALSO PRESENT. <br />MR. WALKER MOTED THAT MR. AND MRS. BRAY HAVE OWNED THIS PROPERTY <br />SINCE 1960 AND THEY WISH TO PUT A TRAILER ON IT. THE PROPERTY IS PROP- <br />ERLY ZONED R-1RM AND THERE IS NOTHING BUILT ON IT AT PRESENT. THERE IS <br />NO PUBLIC ROAD TO THE PROPERTY, BUT THERE IS A NARROW PRIVATE ROAD WHICH <br />DOES ALLOW INGRESS AND EGRESS, WHICH HAS BEEN USED BY THE PEOPLE LIVING <br />IN THIS AREA FOR THE LASTS OR 10 YEARS. MR. WALKER STATED THAT THIS <br />IS A STANDARD EXCEPTION. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />MASSEY, COMMISSIONER LOY AND CHAIRMAN SIEBERT VOTED IN FAVOR, THE BOARD <br />GRANTED A SPECIAL EXCEPTION TO ORDINANCE 74-20 TO CURTIS AND CAROLYN <br />BRAY. <br />DEWEY WALKER NEXT DISCUSSED THE SPECIAL EXCEPTION TO ORDINANCE <br />74-20 REQUESTED BY CLARENCE AND PAULINE STORY AND EXPLAINED THAT THERE IS <br />A RESIDENCE ON ONE END OF THIS PROPERTY AND THE STORYS WISH TO PUT A <br />TRAILER ON THE OTHER END OF THE PROPERTY FOR MR, STORY'S ELDERLY UNCLE. <br />MR. WALKER NOTED THAT THE PROPERTY IS PROPERLY ZONED R-IRM. <br />DISCUSSION FOLLOWED AND ATTORNEY COLLINS STATED THAT THIS SITUA- <br />TION DOES NOT BELONG UNDER SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS AND SHOULD GO TO THE <br />VARIANCE BOARD. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY AND CHAIRMAN SIEBERT VOTED IN FAVOR, THE BOARD AGREED <br />THAT THE REQUEST OF CLARENCE STORY FOR A SPECIAL EXCEPTION BE REFERRED <br />TO THE VARIANCE BOARD WITH THE COMMENT THAT THE BOARD FINDS THE REQUEST <br />VERY JUSTIFIABLE BUT FEELS IT MORE PROPERLY BELONGS IN THE PURVIEW <br />OF THE.VARIANCE BOARD. <br />ATTORNEY ROBERT .JACKSON APPEARED IN REGARD TO 'WATER SERVICE <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE NEW HOSPITAL. HE STATED THAT HE <br />IS PART OWNER OF LAND NEAR THE NEW HOSPITAL, ALONG_WITH .JAMES STINSON, <br />AND THEY HAVE A CONTRACT TO SELL IT TO RALMAR ASSOCIATES SUBJECT TO <br />VARIOUS SOIL REQUIREMENTS, WATER SERVICE, ETC. HE CONTINUED THAT IT HAS <br />NOT 'YET BEEN REZONED BECAUSE OF THE WATER PROBLEM, BUT WHENTHISIS <br />RESOLVED, THEY WILL GO BEFORE THE ZONING COMMISSION FOR A PUBLIC HEARING. <br />-29 <br />SEP 81976 , <br />�'26 <br />
