Ray Cun- <br />in1rngham and Frances S. Cunningham, his wife, <br />-have petitioned the Board of County Com. <br />.missioners of Indian River County, Florida, <br />requesting said Board to adopt a Resolution to <br />vacate, abandon, discontinue and close said <br />1 public street and road described as follows, to- <br />wiit: <br />All that part of 27th Street lying East of a <br />straight line, the Northern point of which is <br />the Northwest corner of lot 1, Block A, and <br />running thence South to a point which is the <br />Southwest corner of lot 6, Block Bi all <br />according to plat of Dodgertown Sub- <br />division, recorded in Plat Book 3, page 49, <br />public records of Indian River County <br />Florida. <br />SUBJECT TO a 5 foot public utility <br />easement along the east boundary of that <br />part of 27th Street as described above; <br />'and <br />ALSO subject 10 a 20 foot easement for a <br />drainage ditch located 10 feet on each side <br />of center line of 27th Street as described <br />above., <br />and all express or implied dedications thereon <br />and resulting therefrom and disclaiming any <br />right of Indian River County and of the public <br />In and to any land in connection therewith. <br />Said Board will hold a public hearing thereon <br />at 10:00 o'clock A.M. on September 22, 1976, In <br />the Office of said Board In the Courthouse In <br />Indidn River County at Vero Beach, Florida. <br />Persons Interested may appear and be heard at <br />sold lime and place. <br />Hoard of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, <br />Florida <br />By:•s.Willard W. HE <br />CONTINUED THIS IS NOT A THROUGH STREET AND HE WOULD HAVE NO OBJECTION. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT ASKED IF MRS. BARBARA DURHAM, THE PROPERTY OWNER <br />ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THIS PORTION OF 27TH STREET, IS AWARE THAT WHEN THIS <br />PROPERTY IS ABANDONED HALF OF IT WILL BECOME PART OF HER PROPERTY AND -SHE <br />WILL HAVE TO PAY TAXES ON IT. <br />MR. CUNNINGHAM STATED THAT MRS. DURHAM IS AWARE OF THIS AND PRE— <br />SENTED A LETTER WRITTEN BY MRS. DURHAM STATING SHE HAS NO OBJECTION TO THE <br />ABANDONMENT.
