MR. LLOYD STATED THAT IT It CONVEYED IN THE DEDICATION. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE WORDING PROPOSED <br />FOR THE DEDICATION IS ACCEPTABLE. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER Loy, <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY GRANTED FINAL APPROVAL TO THE DUNES OF DEAUVILLE, <br />PHASE 1, SUBJECT TO THE AGREED UPON CHANGES BEING MADE IN THE DEDICATION <br />AND CONFIRMATION OF THESE CHANGES BEING MADE BY THE ATTORNEY. <br />ASSISTANT STATE ATTORNEY MILES MANK APPEARED IN REGARD TO A RE- <br />QUEST FOR RELOCATION OF THE STATE ATTORNEY'S OFFICES. <br />COMMISSIONER LOY ASKED IF THEY ANTICIPATE ADDING NEW PERSONNEL. <br />ATTORNEY HANK STATED THAT THEY DO ANTICIPATE GETTING LARGER AND <br />NOTED THAT THEIR ADULT CASE LOAD HAS INCREASED 110% AND THE JUVENILE CASE <br />LOAD IS EVEN LARGER. <br />HE INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THEY <br />II' WOULD LIKE TO MOVE <br />THEIR OFFICES TO THE THIRD FLOOR OF THE 2001 BUILDING. <br />COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER ASKED IF THIS WOULD GIVE THEM MORE SPACE <br />THAN THEY NOW HAVE. <br />ATTORNEY MANK STATED THAT IT WOULD GIVE THEM A LITTLE MORE, AND <br />IT IS MUCH MORE DESIRABLE SPACE - THE OFFICES ARE MORE PRIVATE AND VERY .. <br />WELL SET UP, HE ALSO POINTED OUT THAT IF THEY MOVE TO THIS LOCATION, THEY <br />WILL GIVE UP THE ROOM THEY PRESENTLY OCCUPY UPSTAIRS IN THE COURTHOUSE. <br />P <br />ATTORNEY . E ''TANK NOTED THAT IT WILL BE MUCH MORE EFFICIENT I NT AND CONVENIENT TO <br />HAVE ALL THEIR PERSONNEL IN ONE LOCATION AND INFORMED THE BOARD THE LEASE <br />WOULD BE FOR A YEAR WITH AN OPTION. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT POINTED OUT THAT WE ARE ONLY 20 DAYS INTO THE <br />BUDGET YEAR AND ALREADY WE ARE BEING ASKED FOR A CONSIDERABLE INCREASE, <br />WHICH WOULD NECESSITATE A BUDGET AMENDMENT. <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE NOTED THAT IT ACTUALLY WOULD NOT BE SUCH A <br />LARGE INCREASE AS THEY WILL BE GIVING UP THE OFFICES THEY PRESENTLY OCCUPY <br />IN THE PROFESSIONAL BUILDING. <br />ATTORNEY MANK' INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE PROPOSED LEASE IN- <br />CLUDES UTILITIES. <br />DISCUSSION CONTINUED, AND CHAIRMAN SIEBERT INSTRUCTED ATTORNEY <br />MANK TO DETERMINE WHEN THE EXISTING LEASE EXPIRES, DRAW UP A NEW LEASE <br />BETWEEN THE COUNTY AND THE OWNERS OF THE 2001 BUILDING, AND BRING IT BACK <br />FOR THE BOARDS CONSIDERATION, WHICH HE FELT WOULD BE FAVORABLE. <br />} <br />59 4' <br />T 2 0 197Boot 27 .h. 139 <br />
