CHAIRMAN SIEBERT SPOKE WARMLY OF COMMISSIONER MASSEY'S DILIGENT <br />WORK FOR THE BOARD OVER THE YEARS AND HIS FRIENDSHIP AND HELP TO ALL AND <br />PRESENTED HIM WITH A FISHING ROD AND REEL. <br />COMMISSIONER Loy SPOKE OF HER YEARS ON THE BOARD WITH COMMISSIONER <br />MASSEY AND COMMENDED HIM HIGHLY, <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY CONVEYED HIS THANKS TO ALL AND LEFT THE <br />MEETING, <br />.JUDGE SMITH ADDRESSED THE BOARD ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THEIR POSI- <br />TION IN COUNTY GOVERNMENT, PRAISED THEM FOR THEIR EXCELLENT WORK OVER THE <br />PAST YEARS AND URGED THEM TO CONTINUE ON WITH THE SAME DEDICATION. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT THEN, WITH REGRET, REQUESTED THE BOARD TO GO <br />INTO A REORGANIZATIONAL MEETING AND ELECT A NEW CHAIRMAN AS HE FELT THAT, <br />DUE TO THE DEMANDS OF HIS BUSINESS, HE MUST STEP DOWN. HE NOTED THAT HE <br />WOULD CONTINUE TO WORK WITH DILIGENCE AND ENTHUSIASM AS A COMMISSIONER, <br />BUT DID NOT FEEL HE COULD CONTINUE TO DO JUSTICE TO THE POSITION OF CHAIR- <br />MAN. - <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED TO HOLD A REORGANIZATIONAL MEETING, <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS ASKED FOR NOMINATIONS FOR CHAIRMAN, <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, SECONDED BY COMMIS- <br />SIONER Loy, NOMINATING COMMISSIONER WODTKE FOR THE POSITION OF CHAIRMAN, <br />THERE:BEING NO FURTHER NOMINATIONS, THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE <br />QUESTION, AND COMMISSIONER WODTKE WAS UNANIMOUSLY ELECTED CHAIRMAN OF THE <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE TOOK OVER THE MEETING AND ASKED FOR NOMINATIONS <br />FOR A VICE CHAIRMAN, <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCHMUCKER, NOMINATING COMMISSIONER LOY FOR THE POSITION OF VICE CHAIRMAN, <br />THERE BEING NO FURTHER NOMINATIONS, THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE <br />QUESTION, AND COMMISSIONER Loy WAS UNANIMOUSLY ELECTED VICE CHAIRMAN OF <br />THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE THEN THANKED COMMISSIONER SIEBERT FOR THE EXCEL- <br />LENT LEADERSHIP HE HAD PROVIDED DURING THE PAST YEAR AND ADDRESSED THOSE <br />3 <br />0 <br />�(t� 27; a Z2C <br />
