WITH PUTTING IN THE BICYCLE PATH FROM 16TH STREET TO 12TH STREET ON 20TH <br />AVENUE, INCLUDING THE NECESSARY BRIDGE, THE FUNDS TO BE TAKEN OUT OF <br />FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING; AND AUTHORIZED THE CHAIRMAN TO WRITE THE CITY OF <br />VERO BEACH AND REQUEST THEM TO HANDLE THE BICYCLE PATH ON 16TH AVENUE. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE NEXT REPORTED THAT HE HAD ATTENDED A MEETING OF <br />THE VERO BEACH CITY COUNCIL LAST NIGHT WITH REFERENCE TO THE RELOCATION <br />OF UTILITIES FOR THE 17TH STREET BRIDGE. HE STATED THAT CITY ATTORNEY <br />CORDISCO INFORMED THE CITY COUNCIL TIAT HE AND CITY MANAGER LITTLE HAD <br />BEEN WORKING WITH ATTORNEY COLLINS ON A POSSIBLE AGREEMENT "ITH THE <br />COUNTY , BUT IT WAS THEIR RECOMMENDATION THAT IT NOT BE PASSED AT THIS <br />TIME DUE TO THE FACT THAT, SINCE THEY HAD JUST VOTED TO SELL THE <br />ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TO FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT, FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT MIGHT <br />POSSIBLY WANT TO DO THE UTILITY RELOCATION IN A DIFFERENT MANNER. <br />ATTORNEY CORDISCO NOTED IF THE ELECTRIC LINES WERE REMOVED FROM THE LIST <br />OF UTILITIES TO BE RELOCATED, THEY DID NOT FEEL THE COUNTY SHOU4D RECEIVE <br />ANY MONEY BACK BUT THAT IT SHOULD BE APPLIED TO THE RELOCATION OF WATER <br />AND SEWER LINES IF THAT SHOULD RUN HIGHER THAN ANTICIPATED. CHAIRMAN <br />WODTKE INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE CITY COUNCIL, IN SPITE OF THIS REC- <br />OMMENDATION, VOTED TO APPROVE THE AGREEMENT WITH ONLY A SLIGHT CHANGE IN <br />APPENDIX A INVOLVING SOME COST FIGURES. <br />DISCUSSION FOLLOWED, AND CHAIRMAN WODTKE INSTRUCTED MRS. FORLANI <br />TO CONTACT CITY HALL AND OBTAIN THE DOCUMENT ADOPTED AT THE COUNCIL <br />MEETING LAST EVENING SO IT COULD BE ADDED TO TODAY'S AGENDA. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE HAD RECEIVED ORAL <br />OPINIONS FROM THE DOT ATTORNEYS THAT THE CONTRACT IN THE FORM SUBMITTED <br />TO THEM WAS SATISFACTORY. <br />THE HOUR OF 9:30 O'CLOCK A.M.
