It happened again last month, and it's a situa-
tion we would like to be able to co—ect. The
containers we rent are about the size -that the
County donated in the former recycle p-og»am -
and two of them were filled to the top. A dozen
o»•so.contributors had to be turned away.
If we could work out a way of having a standjay
truck from the County, the last Saturday of the
month (no later than 12 noon, when station closes) -
we could accept any excess papers that the rented
containers could not take. Since the Pape„ not
taken probably ends up in the garbage, and ulti-
mately the landfill - the small amount .put in the
atandby truck could also go to landfill.
Details for use and request for this standby l
equipment can be worked out later if the County
approves aur request.
Beth Negelin
z
e )7 -A! 2 Printed on re-cycted pepm.
a
ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER Loy,
THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE ADMINISTRATOR TO COMPLY WITH THE
;
REQUEST OF THE PILOT CLUB AS OUTLINED IN THEIR LETTER OF NOVEMBER
15, 1976.
a
49
a
EG
