EDWARD TEDESON APPEARED. <br />CHAIRMAN 14ODTKE READ RESOLUTION <br />N0. 76-102 ALOUD AND PRESENTED IT TO HIM. <br />ASSISTANT STATE ATTORNEY MILES MANK APPEARED TO DISCUSS OFFICE <br />SPACE FOR THE STATE ATTORNEY'S OFFICE AND EXPLAINED THAT ROBERT STONE, <br />,,STATE ATTORNEY, WAS*NOT PRESENT BECAUSE HE HAD TO ATTEND A SANITY HEARING. <br />COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE IS SELLING <br />HIS INTEREST IN THE OLD GRANT BUILDING AND IT WILL NOT THUS AFFECT RENTAL <br />C' OFFICE SPACE IN THAT BUILDING, HE STATED THAT HE HAS A BUYER, THE <br />DOCUMENTS ARE BEING PREPARED, AND THE SALE SHOULD BE CONSUMMATED WITHIN <br />APPROXIMATELY SEVEN DAYS. HE ALSO STATED THAT HE HAD EXPLAINED THIS TO <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS, WHO HAD CALLED TALLAHASSEE AND HAD THE MATTER REMOVED <br />FROM ITHE AGENDA OF.THE ETHICS COMMISSION. COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER THEN <br />LEFT THE MEETING, <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE NOTED THAT AT THE PREVIOUS -MEETING, THE BOARD <br />AUTHORIZED THE ATTORNEY TO PREPARE A CONTRACT FOR SPACE IN THE OLD GRANT <br />BUILDING, SUBJECT TO THE RULING OF THE ETHICS COMMISSION, WHICH IL NOW NOT <br />NECESSARY, AND HE FELT THE ATTORNEY COULD, THERtFORE, PROCEED WITHOUT FUR- <br />THER AUTHORIZATION, <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE DID NOT FEEL THAT <br />ANY ACTION CAN BE TAKEN UNTIL COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER HAS ENTIRELY DIVESTED <br />HIMSELF OF THIS INTEREST AND SUGGESTED WAITING UNTIL THE NEXT MEETING <br />WHICH IS IN THE FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY. <br />STATE ATTORNEY ROBERT STONE APPEARED AND NOTED THAT THEY DO NEED <br />THIS SPACE IN ORDER TO COMBINE THEIR FORCES AND HAVE A MORE EFFICIENT OP- <br />ERATION, HE ALSO NOTED THAT THEIR PRESENT LEASE EXPIRES DECEMBER 31ST. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE REQUESTED THAT ASSISTANT STATE ATTORNEY MILES <br />MANK CALL THE LESSOR, EXPLAIN THE SITUATION TO HIM, AND DETERMINE IF THEY <br />CAN EXTEND THEIR LEASE FOR ONE MORE MONTH. <br />COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER RETURNED TO THE MEETING, <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATOR THOMAS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE <br />PERSONS NOW SERVING ON THE DISTRICT MANPOWER ADVISORY BOARD HAVE SERVED <br />THE MAXIMUM LENGTH OF TIME, TWO YEARS, AND IT IS THE JOINT SUGGESTION OF <br />5 <br />0 <br />DEC 151976 <br />0s7 pi,- <br />J <br />
