S <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2004-149 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br /> RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA REQUESTING <br /> SUPPORT FOR CHANGES IN <br /> LEGISLATION THAT WILL REQUIRE ALL <br /> SECOND-SET (USED) MOBILE HOMES <br /> RELOCATED WITHIN OR BROUGHT INTO <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY TO BE WIND <br /> ZONE III CERTIFIED. <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County <br /> has made the following determinations: <br /> Due to the recent devastating impact of Hurricane Frances and Hurricane <br /> Jeanne to the Treasure Coast, and other counties throughout the State, the <br /> Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County is requesting changes in <br /> State Legislation as follows: <br /> 1 . All second-set (used) mobile homes relocated within or brought into <br /> Indian River County must be Wind Zone III Certified. <br /> 2. An attempt to change the Wind Zone Classification for Indian River <br /> County and all coastal counties as designated in the Installation for <br /> Manufactured Housing Guide, from the current designation as a Wind Zone II <br /> County to a Wind Zone III County would have to be done at the State level. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br /> FLORIDA, that: <br />
