RESOLUTION NO. 2005- 041 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br /> RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA,. SETTING <br /> ADMINISTRATION FEES FOR <br /> PROCESSING DEVELOPER EXTENSION <br /> REQUESTS AND MODIFICATION <br /> REQUESTS RELATING TO SUBDIVISION <br /> IMPROVEMENTS. <br /> WHEREAS, under current County Code, developers are allowed to post <br /> security to guarantee completion of required subdivision improvements at the <br /> time the final plat is presented to the Board of County Commissioners for <br /> approval; and <br /> WHEREAS, at the time of final plat approval, the Developer is required to <br /> enter into a contract for construction of required improvements setting forth the <br /> completion date and remaining improvements to be completed; and <br /> WHEREAS, oftentimes the developer underestimates the completion date <br /> .due to weather constraints, scheduling difficulties, material shortages, etc.; and <br /> WHEREAS, to avoid the posted security from being called, the developer <br /> will ask for an extension of time to complete the required improvements and <br /> extend their security expiration date if other than cash has been posted; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to accommodate the Developer's request for an <br /> extension of time to complete the required improvements, various; County <br /> departments expend a good deal of time from the onset of a request, to <br /> inspection, follow-up paperwork, telephone calls, preparation and/or review of the <br /> eventual agenda item; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County <br /> Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the following administrative <br /> fees shall be imposed to developers for the following requests: <br /> Sidewalk Extension Requests $445.00 <br /> Sidewalk Modification (Reduction) Requests $485.00 <br />
