4 <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE UNDER AUTHORITY OF SECTION 171.044 <br />FLORIDA STATUTES ANNOTATED, BY ACTING FAVORABLY <br />ON THE PETITION BY RYERSON & HAYNES REALTY,.INC., <br />THE OWNER OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY SITUATE IN <br />THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF VERO BEACH FOR VOLUN- <br />TARY ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF VERO BEACH, AND <br />AMENDING SECTION 7 OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY <br />OF VERO BEACH, UNDER AUTHORITY OF CHAPTER 166, <br />FLORIDA STATUTES ANNOTATED, THE MUNICIPAL HOME <br />RULE POWERS ACT, B`.' REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY <br />LINES OF THE CITY OF VERO BEACH TO INCLUDE SAID <br />PROPERTY. <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERO BEACH HEREBY ORDAINS: <br />SECTION I <br />Under authority of Section 171.044, Florida Statutes Annotated, <br />and in response to petition of the owner thereof, Ryerson & Haynes Realty, <br />Inc., for voluntary annexation, the following described parcel of land <br />situate in the unincorporated portion of Indian River County, contiguous <br />to the City of Vero Beach hereby annexes to the City of Vero Beach: <br />All that certain piece or parcel of land <br />situate in the County of Indian River, <br />State of Florida, being bounded and des- <br />cribed as follows: <br />The North 355 feet of the NE 4 of the NW <br />Section 12, T33S, R39E, less the South <br />5 feet of the West 887.5 feet thereof, and <br />also the South 20 feet of the North 280.82 <br />feet of the West 10 feet of the East ,50 <br />feet thereof.
