KNIGHT HAS CERTIFIED THAT HIS CUSTOMERS WERE NOTIFIED OF THE <br />HEARING, HE FELT THE BOARD COULD PROPERLY PROCEED, <br />C. REED KNIGHT, .JR., OWNER OF INDIAN RIVER SANITATION SERVICE, <br />APPEARED AND NOTED THAT HE IS REQUESTING A RATE INCREASE FOR RESIDENTIAL <br />GARBAGE AND TRASH PICK—UP FROM $3.25 TO $4.25 PER MONTH EFFECTIVE MARCH 1ST. <br />HE REFERRED TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENT SUBMITTED TO THE BOARD AND STATED <br />THAT OPERATING COSTS HAVE GONE UP CONSIDERABLY SINCE HE STARTED BUSINESS <br />IN SEPTEMBER OF 1975, HE CONTINUED THAT THE COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTS ARE PAYING <br />THEIR OWN WAY, BUT HE IS LOSING MONEY ON THE RESIDENTIAL ACCOUNTS, AND <br />NOTED THAT THEY STOP AT EACH HOUSE S TIMES A MONTH, PICK UP GARBAGE AT THE <br />BACK DOOR AND DELIVER IT OUT TO THE DUMP, ALL FOR $3.25. <br />53 <br />.. , ..
