AND ADMON- <br />ISHED MR. .JENKINS TO PUT IN MORE LOADS THAN REQUIRED RATHER THAN LESS TO <br />SHOW HIS GOOD FAITH AS WE HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO THE OTHER MINING OPERA- <br />TORS WHO ARE OPERATING WITHIN THEIR PROPER FRAMEWORK. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER Loy, <br />THE BOARD APPROVED THE STIPULATION IN CONCEPT, THE FINAL AGREEMENT FOR THE <br />COURT TO"*BE WORKED OUT BY THE ATTORNEYS. <br />COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER SUBMITTED TO THE BOARD MINUTES OF THE <br />SEWER AND WATER COMMITTEE MEETING OF MARCH 2ND, WHICH ARE HEREBY MADE A <br />PART OF THESE MINUTES. <br />Wednesday March 2, 1977 <br />The Sewer and Water Committee met at*the County Courthouse at <br />7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, March 2, 1977. Present were Edwin S, Schmucker, <br />Chairman; Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; George G, Collins, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; James Beindorf, County <br />Consulting Engineer and Flip Lloyd, Engineer. <br />Also present were Robert Donlon and George McKenna, County <br />Employees. p <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and the Committee generally <br />discussed a Water and Sewer Plan for the new Shopping Center to be located <br />at 12th Street and U.S.1. The basic problem was that water is to be'served <br />from a water plant owned by Indian River Utilities by installing a 4" water <br />line approximately 2 1/2 miles along Old Dixie Highway to the site. A <br />i <br />sewer force main i- to be installed from the site along 12th Street and <br />6th Avenue and Rockridge Blvd. into the Sewerage Treatment Plant• <br />After a lengthy discussion of the whole project, it was the <br />decision of the Committee that the following suggestions be recommended <br />to the Board of County Commissioners: o <br />1. The owner must obtain a franchise release of his property <br />from Mid Florida Utilities. <br />2. There should be a Letter of Intent with reference to the <br />agreement which is to be made between Indian River Utilities and the owner <br />for water. <br />45 <br />
