V'.ctor Knight and <br />Mr, and Mrs. D. Victor Knight, Jr. <br />Gentlemen: <br />I attach the following: <br />1. Copy of Plat of Bougainlea, a subdivision, recorded in <br />Plat Book 1, Nage 97, public records of Indian River County, <br />Florida. <br />2. Copy of Replat No. 1 of Bougainlea, a subdivision, <br />recorded in Plat Book 2, page 97, public records of Indian <br />River County, Florida. <br />• As :you will note from the above, t.-.:. original plat of <br />Bougainlea subdivided the area into four blocks, two of <br />which contained twenty-two lots each and two of which contained <br />twenty-four lots each. However, the replat resubdivided the <br />area into acreage shown as two tracts of 8.2 acres and 8.7 <br />acres. <br />Both plats dedicated -an easement for public utility <br />purposes on, in and over the rear five feet of all lots. <br />I represent Mr. and Pars. D. Victor Knight who own the <br />land previously subdivided into Block Two of the original <br />plat of Bougainlea, and Mr, and Mrs. D. Victor Knight, Jr., <br />who own the land previously subdivided into Block Three of <br />the original plat of Bougainlea. Although it was obviously <br />the intention of the County to abandon all of the easements <br />in the original subdivision when the replat was accepted, <br />there is some doubt that -that was accomplished. Therefore, <br />on behalf of my clients, Mr. and Mrs. D. Victor Knight and <br />Mr. and Mrs. D. Victor Knight, Jr., I respectfully request <br />that the Board of County Commisgioners of Indian liver <br />County, Florida, take the necessary action to abandon all of <br />the easements for public utility purposes dedicated *by and <br />shown on the plat of Bougainlea recorded in Plat Book 1, <br />page 97, public recor d3 of Indian River County, Florida. <br />• I have asked for a place on the agenda for your meeting <br />of Wednesday, April 6, 1977. <br />JRG/ns A <br />CC: fir.
