INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 77-11 <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Indian River County Ordinance 74-12 <br />is hereby amended by the adoption of the Standard Gas Code, 1976 <br />Edition, as printed by the Southern Building Code Congress Inter- <br />national, Inc., which 1976 Edition is by reference hereby adopted <br />as the Gas Code of Indian River County, Florida, with the following <br />modifications: <br />1. Bond and License Section 107 is amended to read as follows: <br />"No person shall engage in or work at the installation, <br />extension, alteration of consumer's gas piping or certain <br />gas appliances until such person shall have secured all <br />licenses as required by State and County law. "Unless <br />required by State Law, no bond shall be required." <br />2. Fees Section 113 is amended to read as follows: <br />"Fees for permits required by this Code shall be established <br />by Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida." <br />3. Violations and Penalties Section 114 is amended to read <br />as follows: <br />"Any person that shall fail to comply with or violate any <br />of the provisions of this Code shall be guilty of a <br />misdemeanor in the second degree and upon conviction <br />thereof shall be liable by fine or imprisonment as pro- <br />vided by State Law." <br />4. Appeals Section 115 is amended by adding the following: <br />"Appeals shall be made to the Board of Adjustment and <br />Appeals as established in the Building Code Ordinance." <br />5, Effective Date This Ordinance shall become effective <br />on the 24th day of June , 1977. <br />
