INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 77-8 <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 19-C1A, RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT; OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. <br />71-3, AS AMENDED; PROVIDING FOR SITE PLAN AP- <br />PROVAL AND PRODIVING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that Section 19,_Indian <br />River County Ordinance No. 71-3, as amended,is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />(a) Special exceptions. The following"uses.may be <br />permitted by the County Zoning Commission after site plan <br />approval according to Section 230 <br />(1) Publicly owned or operated parks and <br />playgrounds. <br />(2) Public buildings. <br />(3) Commercial nurseries or greenhouses. <br />a <br />(4) Country clubs and golf courses which are <br />not lighted for night play except for <br />putting courses and driving tees. <br />(5) Residential dwelling(s) provided that they <br />are not the primary use of the lot and pro- <br />vided they are not located on the main street <br />frontage at the ground level. <br />(6) Hotels, motels, bars, nightclubs and restaur- <br />ants, but not•including drive-in restaurants <br />or eating places. <br />(7) Offices, banks and financial institutions, <br />theaters, personal services establishments, <br />fruit and vegetable stands, commercial and <br />private parking lots and storage garages, <br />grocery stores, drugstores and any other <br />retail business or commercial enterprise <br />similar thereto. <br />(8) Medical clinic, but not animal hospital. <br />a� <br />JUN 221977 <br />i <br />
