Amended Time and Place <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006- 034 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, SETTING AN AMENDED TIME AND <br />PLACE AT WHICH THE OWNERS OF PROPERTIES, LOCATED IN <br />LAKEWOOD TERRACE SUBDIVISION (WEST SIDE OF 27TH AVENUE, <br />NORTH OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY LINE) IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AND OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS, MAY APPEAR BEFORE <br />THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />AND BE HEARD AS TO THE PROPRIETY AND ADVISABILITY OF <br />CONSTRUCTING THE WATER MAIN EXTENSION, AS TO THE COST <br />THEREOF, AS TO THE MANNER OF PAYMENT THEREFOR, AND AS TO <br />THE AMOUNT THEREOF TO BE SPECIALLY ASSESSED AGAINST EACH <br />PROPERTY BENEFITED THEREBY. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County has, by <br />Resolution No. 2006-009, determined that it is necessary for the public welfare of the citizens of <br />the County, and particularly as to those living, working, and owning property within the area <br />described hereafter, that a waterline be installed to serve 11.7 lots in Lakewood Terrace <br />Subdivision (west side of 27th Avenue, north of St. Lucie County line) in Indian River County, <br />Florida ("Improvements"); and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the cost to be specially assessed with respect <br />thereto shall be $0.368930 per square foot; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has caused an assessment roll to be <br />completed and filed with the Clerk to the Board; <br />WHEREAS, Section 206.06 of the Code of Indian River provides that the Board of <br />County Commissioners shall fix a time and place at which the owners of the specially benefited <br />properties to be specially assessed or any other persons interested therein may appear before <br />the Board of County Commissioners and be heard as to the propriety and advisability of <br />constructing such water main extension, as to the cost thereof, as to the manner of payment <br />therefor, and as to the amount thereof to be assessed against each property benefited thereby; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2006-010, duly adopted by the Board of County <br />Commissioners on January 24, 2006, set a public hearing date of February 14, 2006; however, <br />the advertisement for the February 14, 2006, public hearing needed to be republished with a <br />new public hearing date of April 4, 2006, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: <br />
