Amended Time and Place RESOLUTION NO. 2006- 034 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, SETTING AN AMENDED TIME AND PLACE AT WHICH THE OWNERS OF PROPERTIES, LOCATED IN LAKEWOOD TERRACE SUBDIVISION (WEST SIDE OF 27TH AVENUE, NORTH OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY LINE) IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS, MAY APPEAR BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AND BE HEARD AS TO THE PROPRIETY AND ADVISABILITY OF CONSTRUCTING THE WATER MAIN EXTENSION, AS TO THE COST THEREOF, AS TO THE MANNER OF PAYMENT THEREFOR, AND AS TO THE AMOUNT THEREOF TO BE SPECIALLY ASSESSED AGAINST EACH PROPERTY BENEFITED THEREBY. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County has, by Resolution No. 2006-009, determined that it is necessary for the public welfare of the citizens of the County, and particularly as to those living, working, and owning property within the area described hereafter, that a waterline be installed to serve 11.7 lots in Lakewood Terrace Subdivision (west side of 27th Avenue, north of St. Lucie County line) in Indian River County, Florida ("Improvements"); and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the cost to be specially assessed with respect thereto shall be $0.368930 per square foot; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has caused an assessment roll to be completed and filed with the Clerk to the Board; WHEREAS, Section 206.06 of the Code of Indian River provides that the Board of County Commissioners shall fix a time and place at which the owners of the specially benefited properties to be specially assessed or any other persons interested therein may appear before the Board of County Commissioners and be heard as to the propriety and advisability of constructing such water main extension, as to the cost thereof, as to the manner of payment therefor, and as to the amount thereof to be assessed against each property benefited thereby; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2006-010, duly adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on January 24, 2006, set a public hearing date of February 14, 2006; however, the advertisement for the February 14, 2006, public hearing needed to be republished with a new public hearing date of April 4, 2006, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
