AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT, Made and entered into the _'2 �;-day of fie_ <br />1977, by and between the CITY OF VERO BEACH, a municipal corporation, and <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Florida; <br />WITNESSETH: _ <br />- - WHEREAS, this Agreement is being executed between the parties as <br />-an Inter -local Agreement for the purposes of providing a fire tower for <br />trains% purposes for firemen throughout Indian River County; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration•of mutual promises and other monies <br />In hand paid, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. INDIAN RIVER COUNTY shall contribute a sum not to exceed <br />FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($15,000.00) to a separate fund to be used by the <br />CITY OF VERO BEACH for the construction of a fire tower according to plans <br />and specifications submitted by the Vero Beach Ffre Department. <br />2. INDIAN RIVER COUNTY shall clear the site and provide necessary <br />marl, which improvements the parties agree have been accomplished. <br />3. The CITY OF VERO BEACH shall apply the County contribution <br />toward construction costs and shall construct the fire tower upon a certain <br />tract of land located at the Vero Beach Municipal Airport and more particu- <br />larly described as follows: <br />From a point at the southwest corner of Tract 13, Section <br />34, Township 32 South, Range 39 East, run north along <br />section line 34 a distance of 1,180 feet; thence at right <br />angles to said section line, run East 'a distance of 75 <br />feet to a point of beginning which is -on the East right-of- <br />way line of 43rd Avenue; from said point of beginning con- <br />tinue East a distance of 303.0 feet to the True Point of <br />Beginning; thence continue East a distance of 171.0 feet; <br />thence run North a distance of 250 feet; thence run West <br />a distance of 168.5 feet to the centerline of a drainage <br />easement; thence run South along the centerline of said <br />drainage easement a distance o8 250 feet to' the True Point <br />'of Beginning.
