""" 2/21(reso\forest)13k/DC <br /> -a <br /> t 0 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2001- o2s ou"0111cwrcou" <br /> Cn <br /> ry <br /> A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, -- <br /> CONFIRMING THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS IN CONNECTION <br /> WITH A WATER MAIN EXTENSION TO PHASE III-B OF THE N <br /> SEBASTIAN AREA (AN AREA EAST OF LACONIA STREET AND <br /> WEST OF SHAKESPEARE STREET BETWEEN CRYSTAL MIST <br /> AND LANFAIR AVENUES IN THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN); <br /> PROVIDING FOR SPECIAL ASSESSMENT LIENS TO BE MADE OF <br /> RECORD. <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian.River County has, by <br /> Resolution No. 2001-016, <br /> determined to make special assessments against certain � <br /> properties to be serviced by a water main extension to Phase III-B of the Sebastian <br /> Area (an area east of Laconia Street and west of Shakespeare Street between Crystal co <br /> Mist and Lanfair Avenues in the City of Sebastian); and <br /> WHEREAS, said resolution described the manner in which said special <br /> assessments shall be made and how said special assessments are to be paid; and C' <br /> co <br /> WHEREAS, the resolution was published in the Vero Beach Press Journal, as <br /> required by Section 206.04, Indian River County Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County passed <br /> Resolution No. 2001-017, and set a time and place for a public hearing at which the <br /> owners of the properties to be assessed and other interested persons would have the <br /> chance to be heard as to any and all complaints as to said project and said special <br /> T- assessments, and for the Board to act as required by Section 206.07, Indian River <br /> County Code; and <br /> 0 <br /> WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of the initial public hearing set for March <br /> 4° 6, 2001, was published in the Press Journal Newspaper on Friday, February 16, 2001, <br /> and once again on Friday, February 23, 2001, and notice of the continuation of the <br /> VO public hearing set for March 20, 2001, was published in the Press Journal Newspaper <br /> G on Friday, March 2, 2001, and once again on Friday, March 9, 2001 (twice one week <br /> apart; the last being at least one week prior to the hearing), as required by Section <br /> 206.06, Indian River County Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, the land owners of record were mailed notices at least ten days prior , <br /> to the hearing, as required by Section 206.06, Indian River County Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County on <br /> Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at 9:05 a.m. opened and continued the public hearing to be <br /> held on Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sebastian City Hall.
