Wodtke, Jr., Chairman <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />2145 - 14th Avenue <br />Vero Beach, FL 32960 <br />RE: Office Space For Youth Guidance Volunteer -Program <br />• Indian River County. <br />Dear Bill: <br />This letter will serve to confirm our telephone conversation of this date <br />regarding the above captioned matter. <br />We are still awaiting some preliminary indication of the funds appropriated <br />by the recent legislature for the Department of Hbalth and Rehabilitative <br />Services- As you know, District level budgetsusually arrive on the scene <br />With the speed of cold fudge. <br />At this point it does not appear that we will be able to continue providing <br />office space for Mrs. Rita Sauerman and her clerk indefinitely. However, <br />Direct Services Supervisor, Mrs. Ladye Flanagan, has made arrangements that <br />will enable Rita'to remain in the present H.R.S. Service Center until September <br />1, 1977- Hopefully, we will have sufficient budget information within.the next <br />three or four weeks to make a final decision relative to this matter. Mrs. <br />Flanagan will be pleased to appear before the Board of County Commissioners <br />as soon as this information is available. <br />Thank you for your continuing interest and concern for Mrs. Sauerman's valuable <br />program and our present housing dilemma. <br />Sincerely yours, - <br />14 <br />Earl tout <br />Service Network Manager <br />CHAIRMAN 111ODTKE ASKED THE FINANCE OFFICER IF HE HAD RECEIVED <br />ANY FURTHER INFORMATION FRdM THE STATES ATTORNEY IN REGARD TO HIS REnUEST <br />FOR A BUDGET AMENDMENT, AND FINANCE OFFICER .JACKSON SAID HE HAD RECEIVED <br />A LETTER STATING THAT THE STATES ATTORNEY WOULD GET TOGETHER WITH HIM AND <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS AS SOON AS HIS CASE LOAD PERMITTED. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS CONFIRMED THAT THE STATES ATTORNEY HAD BEEN <br />SCHEDULED TO REVIEW THIS MATTER WITH THEM, BUT HAD GOTTEN TIED UP WITH <br />OTHER MATTERS, <br />CHAIRMAN IRODTKE INSTRUCTED THAT THIS ITEM BE HELD OVER UNTIL <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS PUTS IT BACK ON THE AGENDA, <br />3 <br />BOOK 30 PAGE 230 <br />
