The warrants so drawn from the Road and <br />Bridge Fund being listed completely in the County Finance Record as provided by law, <br />reference to said County Finance Record and the list so recorded being made a part of <br />the se't,minute,s,,ae fully and completely as if the said warrants were set out herein in <br />ddtai 1. <br />There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried the Board <br />adjourned until the next regular meeting unless sooner called together by the Chairman. <br />ATTEST-. <br />C 1 e r k. <br />rman. <br />TUESDAY, MAY 27th 19 30 . <br />The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at <br />the Court House in Vero Beach, at 10 o'clock A.M.Tuesday, May 27th 1930, with the <br />following: members of the Board present: Albert 0. Helseth, Chairman; J.D.Yongue, JX. <br />Ia.Bruee; J.J.P.Hamilton and John H. Atkin. Also present were Miles Warren, Clerk and <br />Clark 3. Rice, .Sheriff. <br />B.Id.Smith and W.M.Jones, candidates for Republican Bounty Executive Committeemen <br />from precincts #5 and #2, respectively having filed their letter of withdrawal=, it was <br />ordered their names be omitted from the official Republican Ballot, and W.A.Martin, <br />candidate for Republican County Executive Committeeman, Precinct #2 is hereby certified <br />as the nominee for that office, without opposition. <br />The Board proceeded to consider the matter of changes in the plans for the County <br />Jail soon to be constructed. After considerable discussion, it was ordered that the <br />following changes be made: Footing to be 12 inches instead of 8 inches.. Nall . of founda- <br />tion extended 12 inches below grade and 2 feet 7 inches above grade. Lull to be one <br />foot 2 inches thick instead of 1 foot4 inches. Residence part of jail to have wood <br />floor instead of concrete and wood.
