No IhCREASE DECREASE... <br />CNTRIBUTION$ — <br />FOUNCIL ON AGING 01-5347.301,04 $3,072.73 <br />RESERVE FOR CONTINGENCIES 01-9990-701,00 $3,072.73 <br />THE NEXT MATTER TO COME BEFORE THE BOARD WAS A REQUEST TO <br />VACATE AND ABANDON THE PORTION OF 13TH STREET LYING BETWEEN 27TH AVENUE <br />AND 28TH AVENUE IN LONE PALM PARK SUBDIVISION, UNIT 1, SUBMITTED BY <br />ATTORNEY WALTER ERICKSON REPRESENTING KERMIT WELLER AND CHARLES HAAS, SR. <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATOR THOMAS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE <br />OWNS PROPERTY IN THIS AREA AND WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK AS AN INTERESTED CITI— <br />ZEN, HE FELT SUCH AN ABANDONMENT WOULD AFFECT HIS PROPERTY ADVERSELY <br />AND WOULD ALSO BLOCK ACCESS TO 27TH AVENUE WHICH IS A MAIN THROUGHFARE. <br />MR, THOMAS POINTED OUT THAT THE ONLY REASON GIVEN FOR THE ABANDONMENT WAS <br />THAT ADJOINING OWNERS WISH TO DEVELOP THIS LAND AND SELL IT.
