RESOLUTION NO. 77-91 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA ESTABLISHING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WORK TO <br />COMPLETE PROJECT FUNDED BY THE 80% SECOND GAS TAX SURPLUS (5TH <br />AND 6TH CENT). <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County, hereinafter called the County, has heretofore <br />adopted a number of Resolutions requesting the Florida Department of Transportation, <br />hereinafter called the Department, to use the 80% of the second gas tax surplus, <br />remitted to the Department for use in the County, for the purpose of paying the costs <br />of certain projects as described in the respective Resolutions; and <br />WHEREAS, recent legislation makes it necessary, in order for the Department to <br />undertake or complete certain projects, that the County renew the request previously <br />made. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br />1. The County requests the Department to complete work on those project stages <br />presently under way which were included in previous resolutions listed below and to <br />pay the cost thereof from the proceeds of the second gas tax remitted to the Depar':- <br />ment for use in the County. <br />A. 425363 -8851 -1601 -Barber Avenue -from US l to Indian River <br />(2601) <br />(3601) <br />SEP" 7 197 <br />(all phases - PE, R/W, CONST., UTIL.) <br />B. 425335 -88601 -1605 -Oslo Road -from approx. 2.0 miles West of Ranch Road (609) <br />to West of I-95 <br />(complete PE & R/W and is hereby requested to persue construction with Federal <br />Aid Funds) <br />C. 425352 -88508 -1601 -Storm Grove Road -from Lateral "A" to US 1 <br />(2601 <br />( 3601 <br />(complete PE & R/W and is hereby requested to persue construction with Federal <br />Aid Funds) r_ <br />D. 425365 -88501 -1601 -Indian River Boulevard -from SR 60 to Barber Avenue <br />(complete PE, and is hereby requested to persue R/W-manpower permitting -then <br />to be returned to the County for completing remaining phases.) <br />E. 425350 -88503 -1602 -Ranch Road -from Barber Avenue to North Winter Beach Road <br />AND <br />425349 -88503 -1604 -Ranch Road -from North Winter Beach Road to Wabasso Road(SR 510) <br />(complete PE, now underway by Consultant, and return to the County for completfng <br />remaining phases. <br />• ROOK 30 PA,, 448 <br />
