RESOLUTION NO. 2011 - 108 <br /> WHEREAS, Indian River County Habitat for Humanity, Inc. has indicated an <br /> interest in obtaining those lots for building affordable housing for very low and low <br /> income households; and <br /> WHEREAS, Indian River County Habitat for Humanity, Inc. has the capability to <br /> utilize those lots. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLOVED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br /> Indian River County, Florida that: <br /> Section 1. <br /> The above recitals are ratified in their entirety. <br /> Section 2. <br /> The Board of County Commissioners hereby authorizes The Coalition for Attainable <br /> Homes, Inc. to transfer the three properties referenced above to Indian River County <br /> Habitat for Humanity, Inc. with the properties' restrictive covenants remaining in place, <br /> except that the three year period for construction of housing units on the subject lots <br /> referenced in Exhibit B of the deed from Indian River County to the Coalition for <br /> Attainable Homes shall apply to Indian River County Habitat for Humanity, Inc. with the <br /> three year period starting on the date of the deed transfer. <br /> The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Davis , and <br /> seconded by Commissioner Flescher , and being put to a vote, the vote was <br /> as follows: <br /> Chairman, Gary C. Wheeler Aye <br /> Vice Chairman, Peter O'Bryan Aye <br /> Commissioner Wesley S. Davis Aye <br /> Commissioner, Joseph E. Flescher Aye <br /> Commissioner, Bob Solari Aye <br /> The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and adopted this 20th <br /> day of December 2011. <br />
