OCT 2 0197 <br />Water Rate <br />First 2,000 gallons $7.10 per month -minimum <br />All over 2,000 gallons $1.50 per 1,000 gallons, <br />Sewer Rate <br />Residential $1.50 per month <br />At an average consumption of 3,500 gallons per month, the <br />monthly water bill will average $9.35 per residence. However, <br />both water and sewer rates should be reviewed at the end of each <br />year for adjustment to meet increasing operational and wholesale <br />water and sewage treatment costs. <br />3. Water Connection Charges <br />Applications for new water connections should be accompanied <br />by payment of $200 to cover costs of installing the new service <br />line, meter and meter box for the standard 5/8 x 3/4 inch resi- <br />dential water meter. The charge for larger meters will be <br />increased depending upon meter size. Sewer connection charges <br />should be at actual cost. <br />4. Subdivision Policy <br />Subdividers desiring to obtain water or water and sewage <br />service from the County system should be required to reimburse <br />the County the entire cost for extension of the systems into <br />the subdivision.
