COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER DISCUSSED THE LOCATION OF THE OUTLETS, <br />NOTING THAT NONE ARE CALLED FOR IN THE FRONT OFFICE. <br />�. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT DID NOT FEEL THERE IS ANY QUESTION ABOUT <br />OUTLETS BEING NEEDED IN THE VAULT, BUT COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY FOUR. <br />MORE OUTLETS ARE NEEDED IN THE VIEWER ROOM. <br />; <br />JUNE COLE, HEAD OF THE RECORDING DEPARTMENT, EXPLAINED THAT <br />THE OUTLETS IN THIS ROOM WILL HAVE TO BE RAISED BECAUSE THEY ARE LOCATED <br />DOWN BELOW THE COUNTER TOPS, AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO MOVE THE COUNTERS. <br />AFTER FURTHER DISCUSSION IN REGARD TO THE REASONS FOR THE <br />OUTLETS IN THE DIFFERENT ROOMS, COMMISSIONER LOY REQUESTED THAT A SKETCH <br />BE MADE SETTING OUT EXACTLY WHAT IS NEEDED AND WHERE SO THAT ONCE THIS <br />IS AGREED TO THERE WILL NOT BE A NEED FOR CONSTANT CRANGES. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE INFORMED THE BOARD THAT AFTER ALL THE DIS- <br />• <br />4 <br />F <br />CUSSIONS AND MEETINGS WITH THE MUNICIPALITIES IN REGARD TO APPLICATIONS <br />FOR FUNDS UNDER THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING ACT ASSIST- <br />ANCE FUND PROGRAM, HE HAS RECEIVED NOTIFICATION FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />COMMUNITY AFFAIRS THAT THE COUNTY WAS NOT FUNDED, AND HE BELIEVES THAT <br />NONE OF THE MUNICIPALITIES HAVE BEEN FUNDED EITHER. THE CHAIRMAN STATED <br />THAT.MAYOR CRAGG OF SEBASTIAN ATTENDED A MEETING OF THE LEAGUE OF MUNICI- <br />PALITIES AND BECAME AWARE THAT SOME COUNTIES WERE DOING THE PLANNING <br />FOR THE MUNICIPALITIES AT THE COUNTY IS EXPENSE. MAYOR CRAGG AND MAYOR <br />SIMPSON OF FELLSMERE NOW WISH TO DISCUSS WITH THE BOARD POSSIBLE ASSIST- <br />ANCE FROM THE COUNTY. THE CHAIRMAN CONTINUED THAT MAYOR LIER OF ORCHID <br />HAS INDICATED THAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO THEIR OWN PLAN AT THEIR OWN <br />EXPENSE, AND THE TOWN OF INDIAN RIVER SHORES HAS HIRED ADLEY & ASSOCIATES <br />AND WILL PROCEED WITH THEIR OWN PLAN. <br />MAYOR CRAGG INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THEY HAD ORIGINALLY UNDER- <br />STOOD THAT THERE WERE FUNDS AVAILABLE UNDER TITLE II OF THE ANTI - <br />RECESSION PROGRAM TO HIRE TWO MEN TO DO THIS PLANNING AND WORK WITH <br />THE MUNICIPALITIES. HE CONTINUED THAT HE HAD BEEN TOLD THAT THE COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS FELT IT WOULD BE WRONG FOR THE COUNTY TO DO THE PLANNING <br />FOR THE MUNICIPALITIES BECAUSE THE MUNICIPALITIES MOULD FEEL THEY WERE <br />BEING PUSHED BY THE COUNTY,. AND HE WAS ALSO INFORMED THAT IT WOULD BE <br />NECESSARY FOR MUNICIPALITIES TO HAVE A CONSULTANT. HE HAS SINCE <br />NOV 161977' " <br />BOOK <br />32 PAG 07 <br />
