ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER
Loy, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY SCHEDULED THE WASHBURN COMPLAINT FOR THE
MEETING OF .JANUARY 4, 1978.
ROSEMARY RICHEY, SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS, CAME BEFORE THE
BOARD IN REGARD TO THE PURCHASE OF 10 USED.VOTING MACHINES. SHE
STATED THAT THESE WERE INCLUDED IN HER LAST BUDGET, AND SHE FEELS WE
SHOULD OBTAIN THEM BEFORE WE GET BUSY WITH THE 1978 ELECTIONS. MRS.
RICHEY INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE PROCEDURE IS TO WRITE UP THE SPECI-
FICATIONS AND SEND THEM TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE, WHO THEN SUPPLIES
NAMES OF COMPANIES WHO CAN SUPPLY THE MACHINES. WE THEN ASK- THEM
FOR BIDS.
ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT', SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER
SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS
TO INITIATE THE PROCEDURE NECESSARY TO AQUIRE THE NEEDED USED VOTING
MACHINES.
ATTORNEY COLLINS DISCUSSED WITH THE BOARD SUGGESTIONS MADE
AT THE MEETING OF AUGUST LOTH BY PROPERTY OWNERS ON 27TH DRIVE IPJ
REGARD TO RESURFACING THIS ROAD. HE NOTED THAT IT WAS DECIDED AT
THAT TIME TO CONVEY AN UNDIVIDED INTEREST IN 27TH DRIVE BACK TO THE
PROPERTY OWNERS, AND THE BOARD AUTHORIZED HIM TO DO S0. ATTORNEY
COLLINS CONTINUED THAT AFTER FURTHER RESEARCH, IT SEEMS THAT THE
COUNTY NEVER ACCEPTED THE DEDICATION OF THIS ROAD, AND HE FELT IT IS
INCONSISTENT TO CONVEY IT BACK. -HE STATED THAT HE HAS, THEREFORE,
PREPARED A RESOLUTION WHICH DENIES ANY ACCEPTANCE, AND THE PROPERTY
OWNERS CAN THEN WRESTLE THE PROBLEM OUT BY THEMSELVES.
ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER
DEESON, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED RESOLUTION N0. 77-117 DENYING
ACCEPTANCE OF A ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY DEDICATION FILED BY BEULAH GOLLNICK
MUNRO ON .JUNE 4, 1962. SAID RESOLUTION.WILL BE MADE A PART OF THE
MINUTES WHEN RECEIVED.
THE HOUR OF 10:30 O'CLOCK A.M. HAVING PASSED, THE DEPUTY
CLERK READ THE FOLLOWING NOTICE WITH PROOF OF PUBLICATION ATTACHED,
TO -WIT:
15
DEC 71977 - =arc32 n
