RESOLUTION N0.2013 - 035 <br />WHEREAS, the Next Level Security Systems, Inc. local jobs grant application meets all <br />applicable county requirements; and <br />WHEREAS, Next Level Security Systems, Inc. is eligible to receive up to $70,000 <br />through the County's local jobs grant program; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County will contribute $3,000 of local jobs grant funds to the <br />state QTI program for each QTI qualifying Next Level Security Systems, Inc. job (not to exceed <br />10 jobs), and <br />WHEREAS, that $3,000 per job constitutes a 100% match of the base QTI Tax Refund <br />per job award and exceeds the required QTI Tax Refund local financial support; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that: <br />The Boazd of County Commissioners hereby recommends that Next Level Security <br />Systems, Inc. be approved as a Qualified Target Industry Business pursuant to s.288.106, Florida <br />Statutes; and <br />The Boazd of County Commissioners has determined that the basis of this project's <br />average private sector wage commitment calculation for the State QTI Program is 200% of the <br />County's average annual wage; and <br />The Boazd of County Commissioners confirms that the necessary cash commitment of <br />local financial support for the Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund Program exists for Next <br />Level Security Systems, Inc. in the amount of $30,000; that amount will be made available in <br />accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity <br />2 of 3 <br />
