Providing (First Reso.) <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2013- 0 0 2 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF 1 <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN <br /> ASPHALT MILLING IMPROVEMENTS TO 7TH PLACE WEST OF 63RD <br /> AVENUE TO 60TH AVENUE, IN PINE TREE PARK SUBDIVISION, <br /> PROVIDING THE TOTAL ESTIMATED COST, METHOD OF <br /> PAYMENT OF ASSESSMENTS , NUMBER OF ANNUAL <br /> INSTALLMENTS , AND LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA <br /> SPECIFICALLY BENEFITTED . <br /> WHEREAS, the County Public Works Department has been petitioned for Road Asphalt Milling <br /> Improvements for 7d' Place west of 63rd Avenue to 60`x' Avenue "the Project" in Pine Tree Park Subdivision. <br /> WHEREAS , the construction of milling improvements by special assessment funding is authorized <br /> by Chapter 206 , Section 206 . 01 through 206 . 09 , Indian River County Codes and cost estimates and <br /> preliminary assessment rolls have been completed by the Public Works Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, two public meetings were held by County staff with the landowners and more than <br /> 75 % of the property owners affected by the Project are in favor of having their property specially assessed in <br /> order to provide an improvement to their neighborhood; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County Road and Bridge Division will construct the Project in order to keep the <br /> cost of construction to a minimum ; and <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows : <br /> 1 . The foregoing recitals are affirmed and ratified in their entirety. <br /> 2 . A project providing for milling improvements to 7d' Place west of 63rd Avenue to 60`" Avenue in <br /> Pine Tree Park Subdivision; heretofore designated as Public Works Project No . 1212 is hereby approved <br /> subject to the terms outlined above and all applicable requirements of Chapter 206 , et seq. Indian River <br /> County Code. <br /> 3 . This Resolution shall be published by the Public Works Department one time in the Vero Beach <br />
