the Collector shall be responsible for the reporting of all <br /> damaged or lost containers to the S . W . D . D . for proper <br /> replacement and billing . <br /> 13 . 6 Method of Collection of Recyclable Materials : <br /> Unless otherwise agreed in writing , the Collector shall separate <br /> at the point of pick-up , the newspaper and all other mixed <br /> recyclable materials into different sections of the collection <br /> vehicle . The only recyclables that may be mixed by the <br /> Collector are the aluminum cans and metal cans . The newspaper <br /> is to be separated from non - acceptable paper so as to provide a <br /> de- ink quality material . Recyclable materials to be collected <br /> and properly segregated are as follows : <br /> 1 . Newspaper 6 . HDPE plastic containers <br /> 2 . Clear glass containers 7 . PET plastic containers <br /> 3 . Brown glass containers 8 . Mixed metal and aluminum <br /> 4 . Green glass containers cans <br /> 5 . White Goods <br /> The Collector shall make collections with a minimum of <br /> noise and disturbance to the householder . Any recyclable <br /> materials spilled by the Collector shall be picked up <br /> immediately . Materials that are not acceptable for recycling <br /> shall remain in the recycling containers for disposal by the <br /> customer . <br /> 13 . 7 Monitoring Records : The Collector shall be <br /> responsible for maintaining information and records adequate to <br /> determine participation rates and weekly setout rates by <br /> percent , weight by material of items delivered to recycling <br /> centers , and other information required by the S . W . D . De or the <br /> State of Florida to meet the requirements of the Solid Waste <br /> Management Act , or to obtain grant funds . The Collector shall <br /> furnish monthly reports to the S . W . D . Ds due by the 15th of the <br /> following month containing the requested information ; which <br /> shall as a minimum consist of the following : <br /> 1 . Total number of customers having service available <br /> 2 . Total number of customers setting out materials <br /> - 23 . <br /> TCFRANCH . DOC <br />
